Meet our Rabbi,
"I was raised in a very strict religious home. Like so many I wandered from my faith in my youth and I had struggled with my faith until 2010 when I came into "Messianic" Judaism (Yeshua believing Judaism) and I had found my soul (neshama) and inner longing within Yeshua. I grew up all over the world, raised in a military family and then retired from the military and Department of Defense myself. After years of soul searching, I answered God's call and began my ministry founded Beit haSha’ar Messianic Fellowship in June 2015. I had previously served as a Zahken (Elder) and Moreh (Teacher) at my previous congregation."
Rabbi Lehtimaki received his s'micha (ordination) as a Ro'eh from the United Messianic Jewish Assembly (UMJA) in 2015 and s'micha as a Rabbi from Y'Sharim USA/International in 2016.
Rabbi Lehtimaki is honored to serve as the Vice President of the Beit Din of the UMJA.
Rabbi Lehtimaki has written and published the book "Let's talk Messianic".
Rabbi Lehtimaki has been happily married to his b'shert (soulmate), Lois for 40 years, they have 2 children and 12 grandchildren. They live a Torah observant life to the glory of God and pray that their ministry will build up HaShem's kingdom to accomplish His will and purposes.
